How Jesus Met My Story

Jesus, the heart of it all.

Everything shared on The Journey After—every story, every hard conversation, every moment of hope—is anchored in one truth: Jesus.

He’s not just a part of healing—He is the reason healing is even possible. Jesus is the One who takes our shame, our brokenness, our deepest regrets, and offers us something so much better: grace, redemption, and a brand new beginning. This space exists because of His radical love—a love that doesn't run from our mess but steps right into it. A love that sees our tears, our silence, our wounds—and calls us chosen, restored, and redeemed.

How Jesus Meets Us as Birth Moms and Women

Whether you’ve walked through unplanned pregnancy, placed a child for adoption, experienced abortion, battled sexual shame, or silently carried the weight of regret—Jesus sees you. He knows you. And He is not ashamed of you. He came for the woman at the well, the broken-hearted, the outcast, the one who thought she had no future. And just like He met them, He meets us—right in the middle of our stories—with grace that covers and truth that frees.

As a birth mom, I know the ache, the questions, and the beauty that can rise from broken places. I’ve lived it. And I want every woman to know: you are not disqualified. You are not too far gone. The same Jesus who met me in my darkest place is ready to meet you in yours—with mercy in His hands and purpose in His heart.

Walking In Purity - Not Perfection, But Purpose

After all I’ve walked through, choosing purity now isn’t about checking boxes—it’s about living loved. It’s not a burden; it’s a response to being seen and known by a God who has never stopped pursuing me.

Purity isn’t about shame. It’s about freedom. It’s saying yes to God’s design for identity, intimacy, and worth—even if I didn’t always live that way before. Redemption means I can choose differently now. That’s the kind of healing only Jesus can bring.

You Are Not Too Far Gone

If you feel lost, ashamed, stuck in your past—hear this: you are not beyond the reach of God’s grace.

Jesus didn’t come for the put-together. He came for us. For the broken, the weary, the ones with messy stories and unanswered questions.

And The Journey After? It’s here for you—to give you a space to breathe, to be honest, and to begin healing. Not through self-help, but through the Savior who still writes redemption into every chapter.

What is the Gospel?

The gospel is the Good News — that while we were lost, hurting, and separated from God by sin, He made a way for us to be restored.

We were created for relationship with God.
“So God created mankind in his own image…” — Genesis 1:27

Sin separated us from Him.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23

But God made a way through Jesus.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

Jesus paid the price for our redemption.
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness.” — 1 Peter 2:24

We are made new in Him.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Grace covers every past decision.
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace.” — Ephesians 1:7

You can live in purity, purpose, and peace today.
“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” — Matthew 5:8
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” — Galatians 5:1

Why I Speak

I don’t share my story because I have it all together—I share it because I’ve been radically forgiven.

I speak up not because I’m strong, but because His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

And I choose purity now—not because I’ve never fallen, but because Jesus has restored what I once thought was beyond repair. It is not easy, and never will be. It is a daily decision that has to be submitted to God.

So if you’re searching, doubting, hurting, or just trying to heal—I need you to know:

You are not alone. You are not too far gone. And you are not disqualified.

The only reason I’m still standing is Jesus—and He’s reaching for you, too.
